DIARY sponsors project to save Lesser White-fronted Goose
The Lesser White-fronted Goose (Anser eythropus) is the smallest
of the grey goose species. Adult birds reach only 53 to 68 cm
(Greylag Goose 75 to 90 cm). Characteristics are a white ring
around the bill, which stretches over the forehead until above
the eye and a yellow ring around the eyes as well as a small
almost triangular pinkish bill.

 | Who needs to update to version 2.0.8
Many new features and updates have been done regarding sharing
of projects and all who shares project with others need to update
to version 2.0.8. Please make sure that all your project members
update to 2.0.8. This version includes several fixes. |
FTP have changes name to VAULT
To simplify the language within Diary we have changes name from
FTP (FileTransferProtocol) to Vault.
New function - DPU
New function regarding update of project data - a DPU-file (Diary
Project Update. This can be used to update already created and
shared projects - this file can be sent to those who already
have a project and needs an update regarding: for example, project
name, VAULT data etc. |

 | Sharing projects
Two changes has been made:
- Renaming of projects will from 2.0.7 be done automatic
when receiving project data (memos) - Only the creator of
a project can change the name of a project. There will be
message regarding the changing of project name.
- New function regarding update of a project - a DPU-file
(Diary Project Update). This update can only be done by
the creator. Example; The creator of a project can change
location of the storage place of the project memos from
a Vault (FTP-server) to another. This is the most efficient
way to exclude not wanted project members.
Update will be done by changing the VAULT data and creating
a DPU-file that will be given a new password and send only
to the members that will be in the updated project.

New icons for time, distance and amount
Icons for time, distance and amount has been replaced by these
new icons.
Width of the columns has been changed to allow larger values.
These columns can be activated in OPTION. |

 | Security & Backup
Diary will perform an automatic backup of all files to a dated
ZIP-file when you exit Diary and also each minute! So there
is two separate backups, one in Diary folders backup directory
and also in a folder at your choice! Preferably at a external
server with adequate backup routines.
Remember: All database and file transfer and backup are both
encrypted and packed with ZIP-compression.
At each member/user all memos are protected by a 512 bits
encryption! This is 4-times higher security than your Internet
banking! |
